A Gorgeous Day

The fall days are gorgeous here. Cold, blue sky over green trees and grass. We don't get much color in Florida.

Yesterday and today were days that made me glad to be alive. I felt humbled by my blessings. I deserve none of them, but God in His mercy, gave them anyway.

As we go into the Thanksgiving holiday, meditate on your blessings. What are they. We can all find something.

What are your blessings? What are you thankful for?

  3. So much to be thankful for. Being an only child and having an only child means my family is small but I feel so blessed to have them in my life. I'm also thankful for a warm place to live and a soft bed at night. Food when I'm hungry. So many out there have so little. A great week to put things in perspective.

I'm grateful that God protected me and spared me from serious injury in a car accident two month's ago today. I was on my way to Firedwellers to worship and prayer and going through an intersection when a man coming the other way turned left, right in front of me (he never saw me). After the initial almost head on impact, our cars slid and the whole side of his car stopped 5 inches before hitting my passenger side door. I couldn't get out of the car. I only had a few bruises. A aweek later I started having bad muscle spasms in my neck and tingling and numbing in my hands and fingers and arms. I've been being treated by a wonderful Chiropractor in Viera (Dr. Helton). And he just re-evaluated me and almost all simptoms and discomforts are gone and I should be good to go in a couple of weeks with NO MORE TREATMENT necessary. God is OH SO GOOD!!! My car was paid off (I owed way more than what it was presently worth) and I got a nice settlement from the insurance company allowing me to pay some bills etc. Then I got a beautiful 2006 Nissan Altima which I had been wanting for a year or more. God is GOOD and He is so faithful!!! I am so grateful for all His blessings. And he has done wonderous things with my children as well. Thank you Father!
