Boasting and being thankful

Here's a great verse and thought... 1 Corinthians 1:31 "so that, just as it is written, "LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD."

So come on, let's boast in the Lord. I'm on my way to turkey dinner, but will post more later.

Peace out.

Here's my boast in the Lord. Last month I felt God urging me to begin to financially support a certain ministry started by a couple friends of mine. Our budget is a little tight and I didn't feel like I should give less to the other things we support, so this is a bit of a sacrifice, but I was obedient. In the last 2 weeks, a neighbor lady up the street gave us a bunch of clothes for our daughter, who needed a bunch of clothes, thus saving us a bunch of money. ;-) And then I got a letter from my grandmother with a check for $500 completely out of the blue! Am I thankful??? OH, YEAH!! And this month I won't even hesitate to write the check to the ministry! God is so faithful to provide! I just love Him!

    In His love,

  3. Just found you this week - haven't had opportunity to read much, but I've found I love just passing by :) It's fun, flirtatious, feminine, girly, and a pick-me-up with just a glance! So, among an infinite list of gratitude, I'm thankful to find a fun place to hop in and out of . . . if only for the ambiance :)

What a lovely place to come to and get blessed with scripture.I am happy I found your website.
So we all can share how God is real in our lifes without HIM There would not be any happy days.

Well, I would boast here... but as you know I did a huge post on my blog on this very thing.

But something that I barely touched on in my blog was the incredible way that God is working in my life... changing me into the woman of God, daughter of the King that He created me to be. It's a tough process.. but I am thankful for it.

  6. Rachel, for you and yours this holiday season, I pray not only my normal blessing of Numbers 6:24 but also my wife Deanna's favorite blessing of ephesians 3:14-21!
